The House of A&W Mouzannar Sparkled Victoria's Secret 2016 Runway
The House of AW Mouzannar represented by the sixth generation designers Dori and Alia Mouzannar was selected to bring to life Eddie Borgo’s design of the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Bright Night Fantasy Bra worn by Victoria’s Secret Angel Jasmine Tookes during this year’s fashion show held at the Grand Palais in Paris.
The dazzling bra was meticulously made by Dori Mouzannar of The House of AWMouzannar along with their incredible team of skilled artisans. The masterpiece has 772 elements all in 18kt gold. It is adorned with almost 9000 precious gemstones of diamonds and emeralds weighing over 450 carats. It took over 700 hours of detailed craftsmanship. The bra is valued at three million U.S. dollars.
“Creating unique and custom-made jewelry is something we are used to doing for our clientele. However, creating a wearable bra made exclusively out of gold and precious stones without using any fabric at all was the real challenge. Our inherited passion to tread into new territory made us welcome this challenge. It’s exciting to work on international collaborations and very rewarding to see smiles on the faces of world-renown designers once we deliver our product.” -Dori Mouzannar
The heritage, knowhow, craftsmanship, traditional values and expertise in the jewelry industry is preserved under one roof and passed down from generation to generation to the two designers of the House. This was the reason why The House of AW Mouzannar was selected between many jewelers from around the world to collaborate with Eddie Borgo the New York based designer and Victoria’s Secret for the 2016 Fantasy Bra.
